At BFG Garden Maintenance our Decking is a pressure treated wood platform which is generally built above the ground in the garden and connected to the house in the form of a patio. It can be enclosed by a railing or fence for safety. Access may be from the house through doors or from the garden.
Decks can incorporate steps or stairways and can be built on different levels. They can be built over steep or uneven areas or over rough ground that would be difficult to use otherwise.
Decks can also be covered by trellis or other means. This can be used as a base for climbing plants, hanging baskets etc. as well as providing shade.
Decks are an economical way of extending your home and provide a cost effective and attractive alternative to stone patios. In addition they can easily be fitted with lighting which makes them great for parties. They can even jut out over ponds or water features!
